RestaurantMarketingGroup.org was started in 1999 but it's roots go back long before that. Ron Wilkinson, Founder and President of RestaurantMarketingGroup.org, founded Foodco, a cost control software program, in 1981. Foodco is the most successful cost control program in the world, with installations in major hospitality and restaurant chains such as Marriott, Applebee's and Wendy's Franchise groups, to include the largest contract foodservice companies in the world, The Compass Group and Sodexho USA. RestaurantMarketingGroup.org is situated at the feet of the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Orem, Utah.

Before Foodco, Ron’s career included owning and operating quick-serve, family, and formal dining restaurants, and serving in such positions as training director and vice-president of operations for several large restaurant chains. He has developed and written marketing, operational and service-training manuals, and has taught college foodservice and restaurant management courses. He has also served on academic advisory boards for restaurant and hospitality management programs. Ron has presented numerous workshops at food shows, hospitality association conferences, and at restaurant chain management meetings. With over 50 years in the hospitality and foodservice industry Ron is a recognized expert at maximizing sales and profits immediately for foodservice operations of all types. Ron's success is partly due to the people with whom he surrounds himself.

Terry Morey, Vice President of Marketing for RestaurantMarketingGroup.org, has over 32 years of combined restaurant marketing and foodservice experience, and has helped Ron develop many of his restaurant marketing programs and manuals. Terry's career has included owning and operating multiple restaurants, from independents to large chains, serving as corporate director of human assets for a large chain store, consulting and training for multi-national foodservice corporations, and teaching college foodservice management courses. While serving in those capacities Terry developed and refined systems that have helped many restaurant owners achieve incredible increases in sales and profits in little time, making him an expert in employee relations and foodservice marketing.


Also providing support includes a very knowledgeable and skillful team of employees who help manage day-to-day operations, and who--behind the scenes--make RestaurantMarketingGroup.org (RMG) the successful company that it is.

Mike Currier Portrait

Mike Currier, RMG Director of Operations, has extensive experience in all phases of restaurant and institutional foodservice management, and has been project manager for Foodco systems installations for Marriott Corporation, Compass Group, Sodexho, Canteen Corrections, and Wendy’s and Applebee’s franchise groups. Aaron Murphy, the Director of Programming for RMG, began programming at age 10. He is also very experienced in database management, and was one of the pioneer programmers in Delphi. Aaron directed the development of ProfitMAX Marketing Software and Foodco Cost Control Systems since 2000. Brent has excelled operational and marketing knowledge and is known for his intrapreneurial skill to create unique services and products tailored to specific clients. Stephen Nielsen is the RMG's Director of Online Information Services. He has developed his expertise at Brigham Young University and he is one of the most promising young talents in online programming. It is through his expertise that RMG has the premier websites in the restaurant marketing industry. He is currently involved in multiple innovative projects that will continue to keep RMG on the leading edge of marketing technology.
